Do not forget about Youth Group! Youth Ministry is engaging High School Students both socially and spiritually from 6:30-8:30 on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and from 6:00-8:30 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. These nights start with an Emmaus Dinner at 6:30pm.  Wednesday night meetings will begin with an Emmaus dinner at 6:00 and will transition into Praise and Worship.

Retreats / Conferences:

July 12th – 14th: Steubenville Youth Conference (Main Campus) Early Bird Registration is open for only $185!

We will be attending the Youth Conference at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio this year. The Steubenville Conference combines awesome talks, incredible music, praise and worship, time for prayer and fellowship, entertainment and liturgies. The experience will take place in Ohio at Franciscan University of Steubenville and is open to rising 9th-grade youth through recent graduates. Early Bird Registration is $200 and will end on April 15th. To register please contact Brandon Allaman with a $50 deposit to lock in your spot (we can only take a small group of youth this year). This conference is open to all high school-aged youth, rising 9th graders through graduating 12th graders. Please contact Brandon Allaman at ballaman@stjoanofarcva.org if you have any questions. Full and partial scholarship may be available.

July 21st – 26th: Parish Mission Trip

This summer Youth & Young Adult Ministries are sponsoring a Parish Mission Trip to Wise County, VA, July 21st – 16th. All generations of our community will come together to serve those in need. All rising 8th grade youth through graduating seniors are encouraged to join us for the powerful mission. Participants will also share in a retreat experience in the evenings. We are blessed to be hosted by two parishes, St. Anthony’s in Norton and Sacred Heart in Big Stone Gap. Brandon Allaman at ballaman@stjoanofarcva.org for more information.

  • March 31st:  $115 per person
  • May 1st:  $130 per person
  • June 15th – $165 per person.
