Little Angels Choir

Open to all boys and girls, four years old – first or second grade.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 4:30 – 5:00 pm

The Little Angels Choir is developmental.  The children learn cooperation within a group setting, elements of music – rhythm, simple melodies, songs, prayers, and basic elements of liturgy. 

The Little Angels sing at the Christmas Eve Children’s Mass, at the end-of-year culminating activity, and participate in all children’s choir activities.  Once the group as a whole is ready, they join the St. Cecilia Choir to sing easier refrains on the anthems. 

St. Cecilia Choir

Open to all boys and girls in the second or third – eighth grades.
Rehearsals :  Tuesdays, 5:00 – 6:00

St. Cecilia Choir provides training which offers opportunity for teamwork as well as individual progress in music reading, vocal training, Catholic Christian fellowship, and growth in faith.  The purpose of the training is to build a musically competent group which in turn can play a major role in the life and service of the parish and its liturgies.  In addition to musical growth, choristers develop self-discipline, confidence, and motivation. 

St. Cecilia Choir leads sung worship once per month at various weekend liturgies on a rotating basis, at the Christmas Eve Children’s Mass, in the end-or-year culminating activity and various other opportunities as they present themselves.
