Manna

What Is MANNA?

Have you seen the desk in the Commons and wondered what Manna is but were afraid to ask?

Have you ordered Manna gift cards in the past but stopped for whatever reason?

Do you want to help support the parish building fund?  Manna is a great way!

Manna is a ‘scrip’ program where you can purchase gift cards for any of a number of businesses.  You receive the full value of the cards you purchase; the parish receives an extra percentage.

We keep on hand a large number of commonly-purchased cards that you can buy on the spot before and after weekend masses.  We can also order cards, especially for you, for a wide variety of local and nation-wide stores.  In most cases, we will receive those special-order cards by the next weekend.

Our Manna program has raised more than $25,000 for the parish building fund in less than 5 years.  Please help us raise even more for our current and future building projects by using Manna as often as you can instead of cash or credit cards.  Manna cards also make great gifts!

Another way you can help our building fund is the on-line “I-Give” program.  Register at I‑Give.com and every time you order from participating companies on-line the parish gets a percentage at no cost to you!  You have helped us raise $688 so far with the I-Give program. To register, just go to the I-give.com website and enter St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Manna Ministry in Yorktown, VA.  It is that simple!

We need your help!  Volunteers needed at all Masses to help at the Manna desk.  It only takes about 15 min before and after the masses.  Call me for more information.
