Do not forget about Youth Group! Youth Ministry is engaging High School Students both socially and spiritually from 6:30-8:30 on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and from 6:00-8:30 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. These nights start with an Emmaus Dinner at 6:30pm.  Wednesday night meetings will begin with an Emmaus dinner at 6:00 and will transition into Praise and Worship.

Sunday, October 14th – Fall Pancake Breakfast:
Youth Ministry will be sponsoring a breakfast in between the Sunday Masses from 9:45 am – 11:00 am.  Come and enjoy pumpkin spice and regular pancakes, bacon, sausage, and more!  Free will donations are encouraged.  All proceeds will go to support Youth Ministry.

Sunday, November 4th – Regional Peninsula XLT:
All High School Youth from the region are invited to attend a one-night program held at st. Bede Catholic Church.  This event will consist of a keynote by nationally renowned speaker Sean Forrest, good food, Praise and Worship, Adoration, and much more!  The cost is $10 per teen and the event will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm.  We will be carpooling from St. Joan of Arc at 5:15 pm on the 4th.  Contact Andrew McCarthy to register by October 30th at amccarthy@stjoanofarcva.org  Scholarships are available.

Retreats / Camps:

Albatross to Phoenix: A Christian Leadership Retreat
Who: 9th – 12th grade guys
When: Friday, Nov.16th – Sunday, Nov. 18th
Where: St. Joan of Arc
This retreat weekend is a “Peer Ministry” experience, led by a team of high school guys who have been formed into a strong and effective team to provide the main content on the weekend. The goal of this retreat is to have burdens transformed into strengths for all who attend. Registration forms may be obtained in the parish commons, from the team members, or by contacting Andrew McCarthy at amccarthy@stjoanofarcva.org
